Mapping the activity of individual neurons

In a study published in the latest issue of Nature Methods, researchers from HHMI’s Janelia Farm Research Campus  have produced an image showing activity of individual neurons across a larval fish brain. In the video (see below), the activity of individual neurons appear as flashes, detonating across the fish’s brain.
