CEEDs at SIGGRAPH (new video)
A new CEEDs video will be presented this week in Anaheim (California) at the 40th International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques. See video below!
We live in an era of data deluge. Novel tools are needed to effectively extract, analyze and understand the massive amounts of data produced by the study of natural and artificial phenomena in many areas of research.
We developed a system that enhances the understanding of large datasets through embodied navigation and natural gestures using the mixed reality space called eXperience Induction Machine. One of the applications of our system is in the exploration of the human brain connectome: the network of nodes and connections that defines the information flow in the brain.
We enhanced the system with unobtrusive wearable sensors that assess the user’s psychophysiological state. The implicit responses are analyzed in real time to detect the user’s interest and suggest relevant associations in the dataset.
