New Full Time Programming Post for 3 Years on Casual Protein Docking Game

Applications are welcome for a new Full Time Programming Post Starting in January 2014 to work on the “fun to play” Protein Docking Game (Dock-IT) being developed by Goldsmiths (University of London) Computer Games group and Imperial College Bioinformatics Group, which is lead on the Goldsmiths side by Prof. Frederic Fol Leymarie and Prof. William Latham, and on the Imperial side by Prof. Michael Sternberg. This is a major 3 year project funded by the BBSRC.

They are looking for a talented programmer from the Games, App Dev or Special Effects Industries or Academia to take a lead /senior role. The aim is to create a game which is “fun to play” but underpinned with strong science.

Salary: from £34,953 to £38,984 pa incl LW. Up to 3 years. (Likely to be extended).  Closing Date for Applications Jan 12th 2014.
