Google to use user responses to assist dealing with messages and updates on social networks

According to CBR Online, Google has patented a new system which would gather information from social networks, such as messages sent by users, videos, images and status modifications, etc., and then interpret those reactions and make its own suggestions closely related to those of the original users, allowing them to maintaining presence on sites without visiting them.

Google has patented a new software which would gradually learn users’ reaction on social networks, then imitate their behaviour, allowing users to maintain their presence on sites without actually visiting them.

The new patented software would imitate usual responses to updates and messages from friends and relatives to assist dealing with regular data flow.

In addition, the software also examines regular interaction and also flag messages that insist a more personal reply from users.

Google software engineer Ashish Bhatia said:”It is often difficult for users to keep up with and reply to all the messages they are receiving.

“Therefore, it is important for the user to keep to the most critical message based on their interests and more importantly, based on how other users reacted to that message.

“It is extremely important for the users to act in an adequate manner depending upon which social network on which they are operating.

“Existing techniques do not adequately address the amount of information produced in social networks, the increased number of contacts, and the number items that require reply or messages.”

The new system would gather information regarding all the different social networks somebody has joined, then log their work and note their response to the diverse types of messages, notifications, status modifications, videos, images and links delivered to them.

The system then analyzes such reactions, eventually making its own suggestions closely related to those of an original individual.
